Catie Constas is a mixed media artist in Boston, MA.

Catie Constas graduated from Boston College in 2023 with a B.A. in studio art, conentrating in mixed media. They also studied Japanese language and culture, minoring in Asian studies. Constas has also studied att and Japanese language in Kyoto, Japan, specifically focusing on traditional Japanese textile dyeing techniques.

In their art pratice, Constas enjoys creating work which utilizes both fine art mediums and unconventional organic materials, especially blood and hair, to produce pieces which are simultaneously beautiful and unsettling. Catie enjoys pushing the boundaries of figurative art and the capabilities of materials to create uncanny and intriguing objects which both provoke and delight.
